JAMB announce the cut off mark for the 2014/2015 utme
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the cut-off marks for admission into Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education for the 2014/2015 academic session through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Chairman of the policy committee on admissions into tertiary institutions in Nigeria and Supervising Minister of Education, Barr Nyesom Wike, said that the Jamb utme cut off mark forUniversities is 180 points and abovewhile that ofPolytechnics and Colleges of education is150 points and above.
The Minister urged the institutions to abide by admission guidelines into the nation’s tertiary schools.
Prospective Post UTME candidates are to note that this is the minimum cut-off marks for tertiary institutions in Nigeria and some schools reserves the right to review their own cut-off mark upwards depending on the number of candidates that qualified for post utme.
