Registered students of Nigerian universities can now get a brand new laptop with N10,000 deposit. This scheme was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology. The Federal Ministry of Communication Technology in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency has initiated a Computer Ownership Scheme(COS) to enable registered students of Nigerian universities to acquire a new laptop with top-notch configuration. The Scheme aims to: *.Facilitate students (undergraduates) ownership and accessibility to computers; *.Boost knowledge or build capacity through internet-available educational resources; and *.Enhance the use of personal computers nationally.
