SSANU Warns FG Against Fresh Crisis In Varsities Over Earned Allowance The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has warned that the delay by the federal government to review the 2009 agreement it signed with the university- based non-teaching staff union may lead to another round of crisis in the university system. The union warned that urgent steps must be taken by the federal government for the review of the agreement without further delay before it leads to industrial actions and destroy the on-going smooth academic calendar. In a communiqué issued at the end of its 24th regular Executive Council Meeting held at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu State at the weekend, SSANU said the agreement has since been due for review with effect from August, 2012.
